This course has you building and decorating your own personal mug.
You’ll use one of two techniques; Pinch-pot, where you pinch down into a ball of clay with your fingers and slowly build up your mug.
Or Slab Rolling, where we’ll roll out a perfectly thick piece of clay and you’ll cut it, roll it into the sides of your mug, then attach the base.
Whether you want a handle or not is up to you. We also have a variety of patterns you can press into your clay. A great suggestion is to bring along leaves or flowers you can impress.
This is a 3 hour workshop and costs $89 per person. Once finished, we’ll dry, glaze and fire your pieces, ready to pick up in 6-9 weeks.
Because of it’s simplicity, it is a wonderful pottery class to do with the family. Children under 12 are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying parent.
